DAVIDE ASNAGHI

Davide Asnaghi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Diode Computers. He led the company through the Y Combinator summer 2024 cohort and secured an $11.4 million Series A round led by a16z in 2025. His firm provides code-based printed circuit board design tools to clients like Physical Intelligence and Saronic, enabling single engineers to ship over 100 unique designs annually while reducing hardware revisions from five to one. Prior to founding Diode, Asnaghi spent six years developing complex physical systems, including robotics engineering within Apple's Special Projects Group, embedded software engineering at Butterfly Network, and custom silicon chip design at Chromatic. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from UC Berkeley, where he designed an open-source hand prosthesis, and currently focuses on accelerating hardware development cycles for the aerospace, robotics, and medical device sectors.
