David Shi

David Shi is the Founder of Distributed Intelligence Labs in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he develops open protocols for distributed artificial intelligence agents. He previously worked as a software engineer at early-stage blockchain and artificial intelligence startups and studied computer science at Stanford University. In October 2025, Shi raised a $2 million seed round from angel investors to fund his decentralized infrastructure, followed by a beta launch of the protocol in March 2026. As an open-source developer with over 5,000 LinkedIn followers, he has contributed to projects with over 1,000 GitHub stars, integrated technical solutions with LangChain, and spoken at Devcon 7 in Bangkok alongside participants from a16z Crypto and the Ethereum Foundation. His current focus remains on bridging Web3 infrastructure and artificial intelligence to create scalable, collaborative intelligence systems across decentralized networks.
