David Rabie

David Rabie is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tovala, a smart kitchen appliance and meal delivery company based in Chicago, Illinois. Before launching Tovala through the Y Combinator accelerator program in 2016, he held leadership and product management positions at food-technology and consumer electronics firms, including serving as Senior Vice President of Product at Freshly and working at Motorola. Under his executive leadership, Tovala has scaled to serve millions of meals to United States consumers and secured over $100 million in total venture funding from investors like Left Lane Capital. Rabie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and recently oversaw the expansion of Tovala's hardware lineup to include new AI-enhanced features. His current professional focus centers on the intersection of consumer hardware, direct-to-consumer subscription services, and food technology.
