David Maulick

David Maulick is a software engineering leader and former Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager at Coinbase. During his four-year tenure at the digital asset exchange, he specialized in building foundational developer platforms and core frontend user interface infrastructure. His architectural contributions currently power 95 percent of the public financial technology company's user interface and manage 65 percent of its total edge traffic routing. These critical internal systems operate at a large enterprise scale, actively supporting the daily technical workflows of more than 700 internal software engineers across the organization. In his final project before departing the firm, he developed the first artificial intelligence-powered developer tool designed specifically for the internal Data Layer team. Maulick's technical background centers on scaling high-performance engineering tools, optimizing complex web infrastructure, and integrating artificial intelligence into modern software development environments.
