David Lin

David Lin is the CEO and Co-founder of Bristle Health, a direct-to-consumer oral microbiome testing company based in New York City. Under his leadership, the startup raised over $10 million in total funding, including a $5 million Series A led by General Catalyst in March 2023. He oversees product development and operations for the company's at-home diagnostic kits, expanding its portfolio by launching a new probiotic line in October 2024. Prior to establishing Bristle Health, Lin gained experience in genomics and direct-to-consumer diagnostics through scientific roles at Illumina and product management positions at Everlywell. He previously studied biology and business at the University of Texas at Austin before entering the biotechnology startup sector. His current focus centers on leveraging biotechnology and genomic sequencing to advance preventative oral healthcare and improve consumer health outcomes.
