Darren Nix

Darren Nix is the Founder and President of Steadily, a national insurtech company based in Austin, Texas. A serial entrepreneur and two-time Y Combinator alumnus, he previously founded Interviewed, a human resources assessment software platform that participated in the accelerator's Summer 2015 batch before being acquired by Indeed. Prior to that corporate exit, Nix launched Leaky, an auto insurance comparison platform that was part of Y Combinator's Summer 2011 cohort. He established Steadily in 2020 to provide digital landlord insurance, subsequently leading the property technology startup through a $28.1 million Series B venture funding round in July 2022. The platform currently serves thousands of landlords nationwide and launched further insurance product expansions throughout 2024. Nix maintains a primary professional focus on building and scaling business-to-business software ventures across the modern insurance and recruitment technology sectors.
