Darius Monsef

Darius "Bubs" Monsef is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pre, an early-stage consumer technology startup based in Portland, Oregon. A three-time Y Combinator alumnus across the Winter 2010, Summer 2019, and Summer 2024 batches, he previously founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Brave Care. Under his leadership, this pediatric healthcare company raised over $25 million in venture funding before eventually ceasing its operations. Prior to his work in the healthcare sector, Monsef established Creative Market, a digital design asset marketplace that grew to generate millions in annual recurring revenue. He guided Creative Market through its successful acquisition by Autodesk in 2014, following his earlier tenure building the online creative community COLOURlovers. Monsef maintains a primary professional focus on developing and scaling venture-backed digital marketplaces, creator economy platforms, and consumer technology applications.
