Danny Mendoza

Danny Mendoza is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Kodex, an enterprise software company based in Washington, D.C. Prior to establishing the company alongside Matt Donahue, he gained firsthand experience working as a fraud investigator within the technology sector and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Under his technical leadership, Kodex has raised over $27 million in venture capital funding, including a $17.3 million Series B round in September 2023 backed by investors such as Defy Partners and Y Combinator. The platform is currently utilized by major global technology enterprises, including Coinbase and Discord, to securely process thousands of legal orders, subpoenas, and government data requests involving complex issues like terrorist financing. Mendoza focuses his current professional efforts on developing secure data infrastructure and privacy technology to streamline legal compliance and safety operations for global organizations.
