Daniel Zamoshchin is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Refactor, an enterprise artificial intelligence software startup currently based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024 with an initial three-person team, the company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch to develop infrastructure tools for secure and reliable AI agents. He previously studied computer science with a specialization in cybersecurity at Stanford University, where he conducted academic security research alongside Professor Dan Boneh and data privacy research with Databricks co-founder Professor Matei Zaharia. Prior to his university studies, Zamoshchin independently developed and launched a consumer mobile application during his high school years that reached a total of over two million global downloads. His current technical focus centers on building enterprise governance frameworks, automated red teaming tools, and comprehensive evaluation platforms for large language model applications.
