Daniel Vlasits

Daniel Vlasits is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Yoneda Labs, an artificial intelligence and biotechnology startup based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the company in 2023 alongside co-founders Michał Mgeladze-Arciuch and Jan Obořil, he held software engineering positions at Cisco and the proprietary trading firm Optiver. He completed his education in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, where he ranked fifth overall in his academic cohort and subsequently served as a programming languages researcher. Under his technical leadership, Yoneda Labs secured a $4.6 million seed funding round backed by Y Combinator and KAYA VC to develop foundation models and automated laboratory tools. Vlasits currently focuses on bridging advanced computer science and practical drug development by building software applications that optimize complex chemical reactions for the manufacturing industry.
