Daniel Vega

Daniel Vega is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Inversion Semiconductor, a hardware startup participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch. He holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from University College London, where his academic research focused heavily on the practical applications of particle physics. Prior to founding his current company, Vega worked as a researcher at CERN, where he created novel machine learning models designed specifically for the stability optimization of tabletop particle accelerators. He subsequently developed specialized particle accelerators utilized for advanced cancer treatment applications during his tenure at Lumitron Technologies. At Inversion Semiconductor, he is currently engineering next-generation lithography machines to advance United States chip production capabilities. His professional background centers on bridging complex particle physics and machine learning with advanced semiconductor manufacturing and hardware development.
