Daniel van Leeuwen

Daniel van Leeuwen is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of PINA, an Indonesian personal finance and wealth management application based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior to establishing the fintech platform in 2021, he served as the Country Marketing Head for Indonesia at Grab, where he directed brand and marketing strategy across the super app ecosystem. Under his leadership, PINA has grown to a team of 25 employees and secured a $3 million seed funding round led by regional investment firm AC Ventures. The consumer technology startup also participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 accelerator batch and received additional financial backing from early-stage investor 1982 Ventures. Van Leeuwen currently leverages over fifteen years of cross-functional corporate experience in design, technology, and marketing to develop automated investing and financial planning tools tailored for the Southeast Asian market.
