Daniel Terry is the Co-founder and a Board Member of Pocket Gems, a mobile gaming company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the interactive entertainment studio in 2009 alongside co-founder Harlan Crystal while both were attending Stanford University. Serving as the initial Chief Executive Officer during the company's early expansion, Terry helped pioneer the free-to-play mobile gaming model and oversaw the development of hit titles like Episode and War Dragons, which have accumulated hundreds of millions of global downloads. Under his leadership and subsequent board tenure, Pocket Gems has secured more than $150 million in total venture funding from prominent investors including Sequoia Capital and Tencent, which acquired a 38 percent stake following a $90 million investment in 2017. Terry currently focuses on corporate governance and strategic oversight within the consumer technology and interactive entertainment sectors.
