Daniel Hung

Daniel Hung is the Chief Executive Officer of Birdie, an early-stage software technology startup that participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch. He holds an academic degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Previously, Hung served as a Tech Lead at Homejoy, a venture-backed home services marketplace that was part of the Y Combinator Summer 2010 cohort. He subsequently worked as the Head of Product at Kite, an artificial intelligence-powered code completion tool that was successfully acquired by Stripe in 2022. Throughout his professional career, he has consistently transitioned between deep technical engineering and executive product management roles across multiple venture-backed technology enterprises. As a founder, Hung currently focuses on leading overall corporate strategy, product development, and daily operations for early-stage software and consumer technology ventures.
