DANIEL GROSS

Daniel Gross is an Israeli-American entrepreneur and investor. He co-founded Cue, led AI efforts at Apple, served as a partner at Y Combinator (2017-2018) where he created the YC AI program, and founded Pioneer in 2018. In 2021, he and Nat Friedman started AI Grant, providing $250k to AI-native companies. In 2024, he co-founded Safe Superintelligence Inc. Named one of Time 100's Most Influential People in AI (2023). His investments include Uber, Instacart, Figma, GitHub, Airtable, Rippling, CoreWeave, Character.ai, and Perplexity AI.
