Daniel Camilleri

Daniel Camilleri is the COO and Co-Founder of Shaped, an artificial intelligence personalization startup based in New York City. He currently oversees product strategy and enterprise scalability for a platform that secured an $8 million Series A funding round in July 2024 and employs approximately 20 people. Prior to co-founding this Y Combinator-backed venture, Camilleri served as the Head of Product Research at Afterpay in 2020 and worked as a User Experience Research Lead at Uber from 2017 to 2020. His earlier professional career includes virtual reality research at the Defence Science and Technology Group, supported by degrees in psychology from the University of Adelaide and the University of Melbourne. Camilleri currently focuses on leveraging his background in behavioral economics and user experience design to build scalable machine learning APIs for high-growth technology marketplaces.
