Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan is the CEO and Co-Founder of VergeSense, an enterprise workplace analytics company based in San Francisco, California. Since launching the startup through Y Combinator’s Summer 2017 batch, he has guided the spatial intelligence platform to serve over 200 enterprise clients and secure more than $80 million in total venture funding. Under his leadership, the company reached a $10 million annual recurring revenue milestone in 2024 and established strategic partnerships with organizations like WeWork. Prior to VergeSense, Ryan was the Founder and CEO of ByteLight, an indoor location technology startup that was acquired by Acuity Brands in 2015, where he subsequently served as Vice President of Product. Holding an electrical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his career centers on developing hardware-software integrations and artificial intelligence solutions for commercial real estate optimization.
