Dan Hobbs

Dan Hobbs is the co-founder and CEO of Protex AI, an enterprise safety technology company based in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to this role, he co-founded Better Examinations, an online exam management and proctoring platform that was acquired by TerminalFour in 2019. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2017 with a degree in business, economics, and social studies, subsequently participating in the Blackstone LaunchBox accelerator. At Protex AI, Hobbs led the startup through the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and secured an $18 million Series A funding round led by Notion Capital in 2022. His entrepreneurial work across multiple technology sectors earned him a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2023.
