Connor Lee is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Anthrogen, a climate technology startup based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching the company in 2023, he studied applied mathematics and robotics at Columbia University, where he served as a researcher in the ROAM Lab and became the youngest president in the history of Columbia Robotics. He ultimately left the university during his sophomore year to pursue entrepreneurship, leveraging more than a decade of engineering experience that includes placing third internationally in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Under his technical leadership, Anthrogen participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch and successfully closed a $4 million seed funding round in November 2024. Lee currently focuses on developing artificial intelligence systems for enzyme design to convert carbon dioxide emissions into sustainable chemicals, fuels, and plastics.
