Colin Elsinga

Colin Elsinga is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Metriport, a healthcare data infrastructure platform headquartered in San Francisco, California. He established the open-source software company in 2021 alongside co-founder Dima Goncharov to address data interoperability challenges within the digital health sector. Under their joint leadership, the startup participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 accelerator batch and subsequently secured a $2.4 million seed funding round in July 2022. In his current executive capacity, Elsinga oversees daily operations, product design, and software development for the universal application programming interface. Prior to launching this venture, he worked professionally as a software engineer and designer specializing in the creation of consumer health applications. His current professional focus centers on building scalable open-source infrastructure that allows digital health companies to access and standardize clinical and device data.
