C.K. Wolfe

C.K. Wolfe is the Team Manager and Simulation Lead at AI Racing Tech and a Computer Science PhD candidate in AI Robotics at UC Berkeley. He previously served as a Technical Program Manager and Lab Manager for the ROAR group under Allen Yang, managing DARPA-funded projects including TIAMAT and ANSR. Prior to academia, Wolfe worked as a DevOps and Test Engineer at Rockwell Automation, focusing on industrial automation for manufacturing. At AI Racing Tech, he helped found the Berkeley collaboration branch in 2021 and led teams to podium finishes in the Indy Autonomous Challenge, including a first-place victory at CES Las Vegas in 2025. Advised by Shankar Sastry, his current research focuses on applied autonomy, sim-to-real transfer, and agentic artificial intelligence for adaptive robotics, alongside his incoming role as Editor in Chief of the BAIR blog.
