Civan Ozseyhan

Civan Ozseyhan is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of refine, an open-source enterprise B2B software development platform based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching the company in 2022 alongside co-founders Omer Aplak and Eren Erkalkan, he spent over 15 years in enterprise software development and served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pankod. During his tenure at the software agency, he incubated the initial framework for refine before spinning it out into an independent venture backed by Y Combinator. Under his leadership, the startup secured a $1 million seed financing round led by 500 Emerging Europe to scale its operations and expand its growing 10-person team. Ozseyhan currently focuses on advancing developer tools within the React ecosystem, managing a core open-source software project that has accumulated over 20,000 stars on GitHub.
