Ciarán O'Mara

Ciarán O'Mara is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Protex AI, a technology company based in Dublin, Ireland. He holds a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick, where he developed domain expertise in software engineering and machine learning. In 2021, O'Mara led the technical strategy for Protex AI as the startup participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program. The following year, the company raised an $18 million Series A funding round led by Notion Capital to scale its computer vision software for industrial environments. His engineering leadership in the workplace health and safety sector earned him a spot on the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Manufacturing and Industry.
