Christopher Chen

Christopher Chen is the Co-founder of Trapeze, an AI-native healthcare scheduling platform, and is based in New York. Launched in 2025, Trapeze functions as an automated call center for medical providers, onboarding over 140 doctors and reaching more than one million patients nationwide within its first three months. Prior to this venture, Chen served as the eighth employee and founding software engineer at Vanta, where he directed the compliance technology company's initial SOC 2 audit project. He subsequently worked as a Tech Lead at Medallion, developing enterprise-scale credentialing systems for major healthcare networks, including VillageMD and Oak Street Health. Outside of software engineering, his background includes working as a San Francisco tour guide and completing the Escape from Alcatraz swim. His technical career centers on building foundational engineering systems that automate complex back-office operations and improve provider-patient connectivity.
