Christian Mathiesen

Christian Mathiesen is the co-founder and CTO of Frigade, a B2B software platform based in San Francisco, California. He established the developer tools startup in 2022, guiding it through the Y Combinator Winter 2023 batch and securing a $3 million seed funding round. Previously, he served as the co-founder and CTO of a sports technology startup, building an artificial intelligence coaching platform for runners. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Mathiesen spent over five years at LinkedIn as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, scaling the Assessments engineering team from two to twenty-three developers and launching skills-based hiring products. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Brown University and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley Haas. His career centers on scaling engineering teams and developing artificial intelligence applications for enterprise software and developer tools.
