Chris Paul

Chris Paul is the CTO and Co-founder of Risotto, an AI-native help desk platform based in San Francisco, California. Before launching the Y Combinator-backed startup in 2023, he spent over 25 years in software engineering. His background includes holding senior and lead technical roles at Square, interviewing.io, and HelloSign, alongside early career work developing embedded software for FedEx. At HelloSign, he contributed to the company's engineering efforts prior to its $230 million acquisition by Dropbox in 2019. At Risotto, Paul oversees the technical strategy for a platform that recently secured $10 million in seed funding and has processed hundreds of thousands of support tickets for enterprise clients like Gusto and Jobber. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to automate up to 70 percent of internal IT and HR requests within B2B SaaS environments.
