Chris Morales is a Partner on the Investment Team at Point72 Ventures, Steve Cohen's global venture capital firm, where he currently leads early-stage defense technology investments. Before entering the venture capital industry, he served as an F/A-18 Super Hornet Weapons Systems Officer in the U.S. Navy, flying combat missions in Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom before becoming a flight instructor. Following his active duty military service, Chris Morales transitioned to finance as a Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Associate within the Investment Banking division of Goldman Sachs. In this capacity, he advised a wide variety of corporate technology clients on complex mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity financings.
