Chris Kalani

Chris Kalani is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Phantom, a cryptocurrency wallet platform based in San Francisco, California. Under his product leadership, Phantom has scaled to 15 million monthly active users and manages $25 billion in assets, recently securing a $150 million Series C funding round at a $3 billion valuation co-led by Sequoia Capital. Before launching Phantom in 2021, he served as the Director of Design at 0x Labs and the General Manager of Matcha. Earlier in his career, Kalani founded the design collaboration tool Wake, which he led as CEO from 2013 until its acquisition by InVision in 2018. He also previously worked as a Product Designer at Facebook from 2011 to 2013. His career focuses on applying consumer-grade product design to decentralized finance and Web3 applications for mass adoption.
