Chris Hull

Chris Hull is the Co-Founder and President of Otus, an education technology company based in Chicago, Illinois. Before transitioning to the commercial education technology sector, he worked as a seventh-grade social studies teacher and earned degrees from Indiana University Bloomington and DePaul University. Hull established Otus in 2013 to develop a comprehensive K-12 student data and learning management software platform, initially serving as the Chicago startup's Chief Product Officer. Under his leadership, the enterprise platform has scaled to serve hundreds of thousands of students across more than 2,500 schools throughout the United States. In December 2022, the company secured a $50 million growth investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity to accelerate its ongoing nationwide expansion. His current professional focus centers on guiding product vision and corporate strategy to streamline K-12 classroom workflows and track student growth analytics.
