Chris Chan

Chris Chan is the Co-founder of Tanda, a workforce management software platform, and is currently based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He established the human resources technology company in 2012 as a university project while studying computer science at the Queensland University of Technology. Under his leadership in product development, the platform has scaled to serve more than 10,000 businesses and 500,000 workers globally, supported by over $50 million in funding from investors including Blackbird Ventures and Square Peg Capital. The enterprise expanded its international presence by acquiring the Workforce.com domain in 2019 and recently introduced artificial intelligence scheduling tools for the United Kingdom market in early 2025. Chan maintains a primary focus on scaling B2B software solutions that streamline rostering, timesheets, and payroll compliance for the global retail, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.
