Charley Lee is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Datacurve, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company, which participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2024 batch, recently secured $15 million in October 2025 funding to scale its expert-annotated training data platform for large language models. Prior to establishing Datacurve, Lee gained direct industry experience working as a Software Engineer at both Scale AI and the financial services company Robinhood. Additionally, he completed an engineering internship at Google and holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. During his academic tenure, he conducted specialized artificial intelligence research focused on multi-modal reinforcement learning and browser-use agents. His current technical focus centers on developing machine learning data infrastructure and generating high-quality code data for frontier model training.
