Cesar Alaniz

Cesar Alaniz is the Head of Compliance Engineering and Technology at Block, based in San Francisco, California. In this executive role, he directs a multi-disciplinary technical organization comprising machine learning modelers, data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers to develop financial crimes detection systems for the Square and Cash App business units. Prior to his current position at Block, he served as the Director of Engineering at Weebly, where he managed various core software development initiatives and internal technical operations.
