Celestin de Wergifosse is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Signatur Biosciences, a biotechnology startup focused on developing solutions for global health challenges. He earned a degree in bioengineering from Imperial College London and began his entrepreneurial career by building his first startup at age 14. By age 15, he had filed his first formal patent, an achievement that subsequently earned him the WIPO Best Young Inventor award in 2010. Prior to his current executive role, de Wergifosse co-founded a youth-focused social enterprise and successfully established, scaled, and sold a company called Sauna en Bois. The serial entrepreneur and inventor has also delivered two TEDx presentations detailing his early experiences in business building. His professional focus remains centered on leveraging his technical bioengineering background to develop scalable biotechnology companies and advance impactful social entrepreneurship.
