Casey O'Grady

Casey O'Grady is the Founder and CEO of Blueshoe, an artificial intelligence platform for the legal sector, based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching the startup, O'Grady worked as a lawyer and strategy consultant, advising Fortune 500 companies on enterprise AI adoption. The company is currently participating in the Y Combinator X25 batch to develop technology that automates legal research, reasoning, and back-office operations like invoicing. An alumnus of Harvard Law School, O'Grady recently spoke at the institution's Law in the Age of AI event in November 2025. Additionally, O'Grady authored the upcoming paper Agentic Workflows in the Practice of Law for the Spring 2025 issue of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. O'Grady's current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to modernize legal workflows and improve practice automation for law firms.
