Casey Muller

Casey Muller is currently a Product Engineer at Y Combinator, where he develops software and internal products to support the accelerator. He holds three degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and previously conducted research at the MIT Media Lab and the NYU Media Research Lab before dropping out of a doctoral program at New York University. As a two-time startup founder, he participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2006 batch with his company Jamglue and later completed the YC Fellowship program with his second venture, Bevel. Between his entrepreneurial ventures, Muller spent a decade working as a software engineer at prominent technology companies, holding technical roles at FriendFeed, Facebook, and Quip. His professional background centers on full-stack product engineering, media technology research, and building scalable software infrastructure for early-stage and venture-backed technology startups.
