Carter McClellan

Carter McClellan is the CEO and Founder of supercontrast, an artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco. The company is developing an AI co-pilot for creating and refining digital designs, and it recently participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch with a two-person team. Prior to founding supercontrast, McClellan served as a Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead at the enterprise artificial intelligence company Hive AI. During his tenure at Hive AI, he developed Gencraft, an AI art generator that rapidly scaled from zero to $1 million in annual recurring revenue within six months of its launch. Earlier in his career, he worked on artificial intelligence asset generation for video games at Google Stadia. His technical background currently centers on applying machine learning models to accelerate creative workflows and build scalable design tools.
