Carlos Salinas

Carlos Salinas is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Contalink, a cloud-based financial software platform operating out of Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico. In this executive capacity, he directs the technical architecture, engineering leadership, and software development for the financial technology company, which automates accounting processes for small and medium-sized enterprises. Alongside co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Marcelo de Fuentes, Salinas successfully led the business through the prominent Y Combinator accelerator program as a participating member of its Summer 2021 batch. Prior to establishing his current venture and securing venture capital funding, he gained early professional experience in the technology sector by working as an engineer at Tegik, a regional software development firm. His professional background centers on software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and the continued expansion of B2B SaaS solutions within the Latin American startup ecosystem.
