Carlos Jimenez

Carlos Jimenez is the co-founder and COO of Cacao, a financial technology company based in San Francisco, California. Before launching Cacao, he served as the Vice President of Sales at Firstbase and led go-to-market and partnership strategies for Every, both of which are Y Combinator-backed startups. His earlier experience includes financial and operational positions at JP Morgan in New York City, Red Ventures in Puerto Rico, and the Brazilian personal finance platform GuiaBolso. He holds a finance and marketing degree from Georgetown University, is a PhD candidate in International Business at the University of Puerto Rico, and has completed over thirty professional certifications in methodologies like Lean Six Sigma and Agile. His current focus centers on scaling early-stage venture-backed fintech companies to product-market fit across the United States and Latin American markets.
