Callie Lissinna

Callie Lissinna is the Co-founder and CEO of Wyvern, a space technology startup providing high-resolution hyperspectral imagery, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She previously spent nearly three years as the Project Manager for the Ex-Alta 2 satellite mission at the University of Alberta, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During her academic tenure, she secured over $100,000 in grant funding and reported directly to the Canadian Space Agency. Lissinna also led in-orbit operations for AlbertaSat-1, the first satellite built in Alberta launched in 2017, accumulating more than 100 hours of real-time spacecraft commanding experience. She subsequently transitioned to the commercial aerospace sector, guiding Wyvern through the Y Combinator accelerator program during its Winter 2022 batch. Her current focus centers on scaling commercial Earth observation technologies and advancing low Earth orbit satellite operations.
