Bryant Lee is a Y Combinator founder and the CEO of Vaero, an artificial intelligence platform focused on custom writing generation models. He previously attended Carnegie Mellon University as a computer science doctoral candidate, collaborating with Luis von Ahn on early iterations of the language application Duolingo. After earning his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and serving on the law review, Lee worked as a patent lawyer at Covington and Burling. He later started Cognition IP, a legal technology company backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield Fund that achieved two million dollars in annual revenue. As a successful technology entrepreneur, his prior startup ventures have collectively raised more than eighty million dollars in venture capital funding. Lee currently focuses on combining his technical expertise and legal training to develop specialized artificial intelligence software for enterprise applications.
