Brad Koch is the Leader of the Farm team at Bushel, an independently owned agricultural supply chain software company, and is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to assuming this position, he co-founded FarmLogs alongside Jesse Vollmar in 2011 to develop specialized farm management software designed to increase profitability for row crop farmers. The agricultural technology startup participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2012 batch, eventually raising more than $37 million in venture capital funding to scale its operations. At its peak, the FarmLogs software platform was utilized by more than 20 percent of row crop farms across the United States before being acquired by Bushel in June 2021. Koch, who holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from Saginaw Valley State University, currently focuses on integrating and expanding grower-facing agricultural technology solutions within the broader B2B software market.
