Borge Hald

Borge Hald is an investor and the co-founder of Medallia, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the customer experience management software company in 2001 and served as its Chief Executive Officer for over 17 years. Under his executive leadership, the enterprise software firm scaled its operations significantly, leading to a 2019 initial public offering and an eventual $6.4 billion take-private acquisition by private equity firm Thoma Bravo in 2021. Before launching his entrepreneurial career, he worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and served in the Norwegian Armed Forces. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. His current professional focus centers on scaling enterprise software platforms and advancing B2B technology investments across the broader global SaaS sector.
