Bogdan Apostol

Bogdan Apostol is the San Francisco, California-based co-founder and CEO of Nestor, a human resources technology and people intelligence platform. Under his leadership, the company participated in Y Combinator and secured a $2 million seed funding round led by Eleven Ventures in October 2022 to expand its operations. Nestor currently serves over 10,000 employees globally, providing skills-based workforce agility and talent management software to Fortune 500 enterprise companies. Previously, Apostol served as the CEO and co-founder of Marionette Studio and worked as a software engineer at Maxcode. He holds a doctorate in computer science from the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, producing academic research that has been referenced by corporations including Intel and LG. His current focus centers on scaling business-to-business software solutions that leverage data analytics to improve organizational development and employee retention.
