Blake Shao

Blake Shao is the co-founder of Stewdio, an artificial intelligence creative platform, and is currently based in New York. He established the two-person enterprise in 2024 alongside co-founder Jialiang Zhou, subsequently securing a position in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch. The startup provides a collaborative interface integrating multiple image and video generation models, which has already been utilized by advertising agencies, architects, and directors producing music videos for recording artists like Quavo and Loco. Prior to launching Stewdio, Shao worked as a founding engineer at a consumer AI startup that acquired thousands of users, and he previously directed award-winning independent short films. He graduated with a computer science degree from Brown University in 2024. His current focus centers on engineering AI-powered digital media tools that streamline video production workflows for professional creative teams.
