Bernardo Cordero is the co-founder of Clau, previously known as Flat, a real estate technology platform based in Mexico City. Under his leadership, the property technology company raised a $25 million Series A round backed by OpenDoor co-founder Eric Wu and acquired mortgage brokerage Hipoteca Genial. Previously, he served as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Latin American e-commerce marketplace Linio and co-founded the Mexican e-commerce association AMVO. He also established STARTegy Venture Builder, through which he invested in regional technology startups including Y Combinator alumni Covela and Belvo. Cordero holds a Master of Business Administration from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana. His professional focus centers on developing digital marketplaces, financial technology, and property technology ventures across Latin America.
