Benjamín Labra is the co-founder and CEO of Houm, a venture-backed proptech startup based in Santiago, Chile. Under his executive leadership, the company participated in Y Combinator's W21 batch and subsequently raised a $35 million Series A funding round in November 2021. This institutional capital, co-led by Goodwater Capital and Fifth Wall, was secured to scale the platform's property rental and sales operations across Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. Prior to launching his current entrepreneurial venture, he built professional expertise across investment banking, asset management, and commercial real estate development. He earned an undergraduate business degree in his native Chile before completing a Master of Science in Real Estate Development at Columbia University.
