Benjamin Skinner

Benjamin Skinner is the co-founder and founding engineer of Kestroll, an AI-powered media asset management platform based in San Francisco, California. Alongside co-founder Tom Yang, he currently leads the two-person enterprise, which operates as an active portfolio company backed by the Y Combinator accelerator program. Prior to establishing Kestroll, Skinner built his technical foundation by working as a founding software engineer at several seed-stage technology companies within the broader Y Combinator startup ecosystem. Before entering the professional sector, he successfully co-founded an artificial intelligence language tutoring application during his senior year of college and previously helped develop one of the largest student-run startup accelerators in Boston during his sophomore year. His current professional focus centers entirely on engineering AI-powered software solutions, advancing media technology, and building highly scalable infrastructure for modern content management systems.
