Ben Thompson

Ben Thompson is a technology entrepreneur based in Durango, Colorado, best known as the co-founder and former Chief Customer Officer of GitPrime. Alongside co-founder Travis Kimmel, he launched the developer analytics platform in 2015 and participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2016 accelerator program. Thompson directed the startup's marketing and customer experience functions, scaling the business to 110 employees and securing more than 400 enterprise clients, including PayPal. In May 2019, the public company Pluralsight acquired GitPrime for $170 million in cash, after which Thompson transitioned into a vice president role to oversee post-acquisition integration until September 2020. Prior to this software venture, he spent seven years operating as the founder and principal of the creative agency Studiofluid. His professional background centers on B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy, engineering intelligence metrics, and scaling enterprise developer productivity tools.
