Ben Katz

Ben Katz is the Boston-based Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HYBRD, a fitness platform that consolidates strength and cardio training data using artificial intelligence. Prior to launching this Y Combinator-backed technology venture, he led the growth product team at WHOOP, developing a highly successful referral program that drove a 30 percent increase in user recommendations. He previously served as General Manager of Health and Fitness at Appex, overseeing a mobile app portfolio, and worked as a research associate publishing health studies at Harvard University. Additionally, Katz is a member of the United States national rowing team and a competitive athlete who has completed a 50-kilometer ultramarathon and multiple IRONMAN triathlons. His current focus centers on bridging his technical product management expertise with consumer health applications to build advanced performance tracking solutions for hybrid athletes.
