Ben Firshman

Ben Firshman is the co-founder and CEO of Replicate, an artificial intelligence infrastructure platform based in San Francisco, California. As a four-time startup founder, he previously served as Director of Product Management at Docker following the acquisition of his startup, Orchard. During his tenure, Firshman created Fig, an open-source project that was subsequently renamed Docker Compose and is now utilized by millions of developers globally. He launched Replicate after participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2020 cohort, recently guiding the company to a $40 million Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. The platform currently hosts thousands of open-source machine learning models, including Meta's Llama and Stable Diffusion, allowing engineers to deploy and fine-tune them at scale.
